I always enjoy showing condos in Queen Anne.  Parking is easier to find and the neighborhood is pleasant.  One of the few condos that I show several times a year is the Carrara I & II Condos.   Carrara I is located on 123 Queen Anne Ave N, near Denny Way, the street separating Belltown and Queen Anne.  Carrara II is located right behind Carrara I on 120 1st Ave W.  Both buildings were built in 2000.

Carrara I is a 6 story condo with 58 homes.  Carrara II on the other hand is a smaller building with only 20 homes and 5 stories.  Both buildings have similar finishes such as granite tile kitchen counter tops, cherry cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom.  In some homes, there is an electric fireplace.  Most homes have either a balcony, deck or private patio.  

The Carrara I & II have more limited amenities than the Athena.  Carrara I has a large courtyard on the 2nd level.  If you're looking at homes facing the courtyard, it's a little more quiet than units facing Queen Anne Ave N which tends to get a little bit of road noise.  Carrara II has a communal roof top deck and it faces the Puget Sound.  Homes on the high floors can actually get some water views.  Carrara I & II are great to check out if you're looking for a starter home or an in-city retreat.  The studio and one bedroom floor plans are nicely laid out and not too big to maintain.  Many of the two bedrooms have two parking spaces which is harder to find compared to condos in Belltown. The location is also ideal for someone looking for a walkable neighborhood and still close enough to Belltown and Downtown to enjoy all the action.
