The Siena is on 16th Ave E between E Mercer and E Republican St. The developer has done several other conversions in Seattle and this is probably one of their most unique projects.
There are a total of 11 units in the building with six in the phase one building and five in the phase two building. Both buildings were built around the early 1900. All the units are one bedroom floor plans and so far they have sold their model unit with 3 units currently available and the rest releasing soon.
Estimated move in date is mid Fall. The average square feet for the units are around 700. Prices range from $350,000-$450,000.
All hardwood floors will be restored in the units. The interior will feature 10 foot ceilings with cove moldings. The developer has worked with a local designer to create a retro feel for the unit. The kitchen and bathrooms will have modern retro finishes, cabinets, new appliances, and gas cooking. There will be new wiring, plumbing, and heating systems. New windows will be installed except for those that have vintage designs. Clearly, all of these renovations will be big plus for home buyers who are concerned about a 100 year old building.
Overall, an appealing condo. The residential tree lined street, walking distance to 15th Ave, and Volunteer Park just a stone’s throw away combined with a turn of the century condo with updated functionality.
Pros
– Tree lined street
Cons
– Older building
– No parking

nice units, however there was one unit at350k and it’s already gone. the next high up is 379k. (or maybe 389k).
i’m not sure whether parking is included as well, not an area where you don’t want to have a garage.
There is only one parking space at the back of the building available for purchase. Street parking is avaliable with permit.
