Except maybe for Olive 8. Aren’t there large olives being planned for the side of the building’s facade? That’s lame. citykid November 21, 2007 at 11:21 pm - Reply Actually, newbuyer – the “olives” are quite subtle. It’s just a “frit” pattern in the glass and it does have some relation to an artist that the project is themed after, not to mention the location [8th + Olive, get it?]. You can get a sense of how it will look because the first glass panels are in…i am reserving judgement. It may sound lame, but I think it might be kinda cool. The design architect is from New York, he has done some interesting projects using glass as the primary material. bambam November 22, 2007 at 8:02 am - Reply the idea of a condo that looks like an olive loaf seems really unpleasant to me but i guess citykid is right and we should wait till we see it to cast judgement but at least from a marketing point of view, promoting a condo that has perishables embedded into it seems like a miss. newbuyer November 24, 2007 at 5:35 pm - Reply Yah, I actually saw the olives and do not like it.
