Avenue One is a high rise building located on the north end of Belltown on 1^st Avenue.

The stats:

117 residential units – Studios, one and two bedrooms + 3 commercial units
13 stories
Built in 2005
All units have at least 1 parking space and 1 storage space, some have multiple of each
8 units have sold in the last 6 months ranging in price from $203,093 to $620,000; at the time of this post there is one unit pending that is priced at $450,000 and 2 units are active both priced at $798,000
HOA dues include: water, sewer, garbage, gas, building maintenance, on-site manager, concierge, professional property manager, earthquake insurance
Amenities: Concierge, party room, roof deck with BBQs, guest suite, gym

The pros:

Avenue One is located on the quieter end of Belltown which many feel is a pro since they are not right in the noisy action but just a short walk away
Nice building amenities for residents to use
Every unit has parking and storage
Many of the units have views of the city, Space Needle, mountains and/or Sound
There are gas cooktops in the units which seem to be the preference of buyers
As a high-rise, they allow hard surface flooring
Close proximity to the Waterfront, Seattle Sculpture Park, and easy access to downtown and South Lake Union
Some units were upgraded to include air contioning

The cons:

The deck spaces tend to be small and not very functional on most units
The concierge staff is not on duty 24 hours and there’s no concierge staff on Sunday
Many of the lower floor units on the south and west sides are pretty dark due to facing the alley or neighboring office building
The gym is somewhat limited in options for equipment and is small
